Sunrise Aviation Co. Inc. was
formed in 1992 as a company to provide airport
operations at the Estevan Airport and expand
airport usage by training pilots and encouraging
them to purchase aircraft. Pilots were trained
in the Ultra Light, Recreational, Private and
Commercial categories. The Airport was a new
facility and proved to be excellent for training
purposes. In the early 90's four aircraft called
Estevan home and due to the flight training
provided at the airport, by the year 2000 over
20 airplanes were renting space from the City of
Estevan. Today, three twin engine aircraft are
working out of Estevan and twenty two single
engine airplanes call Estevan home. Sunrise
Aviation Co. Inc. has expanded into Manitoba
where flight training was provided to strengthen
airports in two communities. Sunrise has also
expanded into Multi Engine I.F.R. training.
Training is provided by a Piper Seneca II, a
Cessna Cardinal RG, and two Cessna 172s.
Chartered service, pipeline and power line
patrol are also available along with the Flight
Training. Sunrise Aviation Co. Inc. is looking
forward to many more years of service to the
Estevan Community and we are proud of our
contribution to The Estevan Airport.
