Position Description


Initiates analysis of financial reports and associated risks. Utilizes Earned Value Management (EVM) processes and procedures. Develops Estimates at Completion (EACs) and financial and resource forecasts. Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and schedule performance measurement baselines and variance analyses. Defines and communicates cost and schedule trends and quantifies cost and schedules. Compiles data from multiple sources and develops reports to meet stringent reporting. Develops strategic plans and business cases using appropriate financial indices. Collects and documents requirements for training, processes and new tool development or enhancement. Works under general direction.

Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This C-130 AMP Program position will be responsible for Earned Value Management processes, providing EVM business support to Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads and Control Account Managers (CAMs), providing support of common tools deployed to the C-130 AMP, analysis and maintenance of cost and schedule information, variance analyses, and analysis of risk and opportunities for the IPT and CAM. Will coordinate with the IPT and CAM in the development of budget phasing and baselines, weekly earned value, and Estimates at Complete. Will review analysis and reconciliation of actual costs incurred at the control account level. Will provide expertise to troubleshoot process and tool issues. Will provide support to CAMs and IPT leaders in the preparation and execution of EVM review audits. The candidate must have the ability to work well in a team environment, excellent organizational skills, analytical ability and excellent communication and presentation skills. This position interfaces with program, and site management as well as government representatives and customers. Qualified candidates must be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience with COBRA, Open Plan Professional (OPP), or wInsight is a definite plus. Must have the ability to adjust priorities to multiple demanding unanticipated events, as well as adjust decisions and actions to new information. The Boeing C-130 AMP Program is moving from Long Beach, CA to Oklahoma City, OK in 2011. This position is a permanent position in Oklahoma City. However, the candidate may be required to travel to Long Beach, CA (for approximately 1 month) prior to the OKC assignment to receive training from the existing business management team and core function. If this travel to Long Beach for training is required, then appropriate Domestic Temporary Assignment (DTA) benefits will be coordinated for the new hire.
