Position Description


Conducts analysis of Financial Statements and associated risks and opportunities to provide understanding of financial performance to both internal and external stakeholders. Initiates integration and analysis of Estimates at Completion (EACs) and financial and resource forecasts. Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and schedule performance measurement baselines and variance analyses. Defines and communicates cost and schedule trends and quantifies cost and schedule risks. Leads project startup by conducting planning and implementation activities such as work and organization breakdown structure development and responsibility assignment matrix development. Makes recommendations for program financial and performance improvements. Develops and implements compliance plans. Develops strategic plans and business cases using appropriate financial indices. Integrates the collection and documentation of requirements for training, processes and new tool development. Provides expertise to troubleshoot process and tool issues, determine root cause and recommend solutions. Works under general direction.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Have you performed finance related activities on Government contracts?

Do you have experience performing an Estimate at Complete (EAC) for Material dollars?

Have you worked in an Earned Value Management environment on government contracts?

Do you meet the educational requirements as described in the "Typical Education and/or Experience section for this requisition?



Typical Education/Experience


Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 4 - Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.




Other Job related information


Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes, Procurement, Accounting, and Finance activities is desired. Experience in related disciplines is beneficial (i.e., Business Operations, Material Estimating, Procurement Cost Analysis, Financial Controls, Accounting, or Supplier Management and Procurement). This position interfaces with program and site management, as well as Government representatives/customers. Candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience with COBRA and/or Open Plan Professional (OPP), COGNOS, or wInsight is a definite plus. Must have the ability to adjust priorities to multiple demanding unanticipated events, as well as adjust decisions and actions to new information. The Boeing C-130 AMP Program is moving from Long Beach, CA to Oklahoma City, OK in 2011. This position is a permanent position in OKC. However, the candidate may be required to travel to Long Beach, CA (for approximately 1 month) prior to the OKC assignment to receive training/OJT from the existing Business Mgt team and core function. If this travel to Long Beach for training is required, then appropriate Domestic Temporary Assignment (DTA) benefits will be coordinated for the new hire. No Security Clearance Required.
