Position Description


The position will be located on Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico. The individual will conduct analysis of program financial data and associated risks and opportunities to provide an understanding of financial performance to both internal and external stakeholders. They will develop, review and consolidate Estimates at Completion (EACs) and financial and resource forecasts. The individual will make recommendations for program financial and performance improvements and review and reconcile financial data. They will review, report, reconcile and correct actual and allocated costs. They will develop and implement compliance plans. Additional responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise to troubleshoot process and tool issues, determine root cause and recommend solutions. Will work closely with technical team, purchasing, contracts, and accounting and under minimal direction.

Extensive, specialized knowledge of forecast analysis. This may include, rates (production, overhead, usage), resource staffing, long range business plan, estimates at complete (EAC), company accounting, customer payment schedules, and contractual requirements to develop and maintain forecasts.



Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Do you have at least 5 years of experience in Estimates at Completion (EAC) preparation?

Do you have at least 5 years of Finance experience supporting a U.S. government contract?



Typical Education/Experience


Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position requires Ability to Obtain Interim Clearance (Pre-start) and Final Clearance (Post-start) - US citizenship required or equivalent (Refer to Security Clearance Definitions link above) . Applicants must include their Security Clearance Level, Investigation Type and Investigation Date clearly on their resume. Qualified candidates must possess strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Knowledge and experience in financial systems, including query reporting is desired. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel & Power Point. Knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards) is a plus. The relocation will follow the Boeing LTS Modified Relocation Plan - it does not include home buy out or return relocation rights.
